At Mount Carmel we hope that during your visit you encountered someone, a Guardian Angel, who made your experience special and was there when you needed them. You can recognize that physician, nurse, staff member or volunteer by sharing your story and making a donation to the Mount Carmel Foundation in their honor. When you make a donation in honor of a Mount Carmel caregiver, your Guardian Angel will be notified of your special gift, be recognized by their supervisor and receive a special angel pin they can proudly wear. Gifts received through the Guardian Angels Program pay tribute to a caregiver who enriched your life while also providing the Mount Carmel Foundation with essential resources so others can receive the highest-quality, most compassionate healthcare as well.

Guardian Angel Program
A Guardian Angel funds the care for the cats or dogs in a sponsored condo or kennel for one year. Thus, during your year as a Guardian Angel, you’ll be helping a number of pets as they await a permanent home. Your status will be r.ecognized with a card on your sponsored kennel naming you, your family, or your business/logo as that pet’s Guardian Angel. You’ll also receive a certificate and a special Angel Pin. Everyone who visits the shelter will be reminded of your generosity. Give wings to your love for the dogs and cats at the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. Archangels are recognized in our Shaggy Sheet newsletter. As a Guardian Angel and Archangel, you can give the shelter pets the same love you would give your own pets.
